COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication (BJMC) is a three-year undergraduate program designed for students aspiring to build a career in the media and communication industry. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of journalism, mass media, and communication practices across print, broadcast, and digital platforms.
BJMC aims to equip students with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in areas such as news reporting, writing, editing, radio and television production, advertising, public relations, media ethics, communication theories, and digital media tools. It integrates classroom learning with field training, internships, and media lab experience to prepare students for the dynamic and fast-paced world of media.
Through real-world projects, newsroom simulations, workshops with industry experts, and modern production tools, students gain firsthand experience in media production, journalism ethics, content creation, and audience engagement.
