COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Diploma in Basic Principles & Ayurveda Sanskar is a foundational program designed to introduce students to the ancient and holistic science of Ayurveda. This diploma course delves into the philosophical, spiritual, and scientific roots of Ayurveda, offering a comprehensive understanding of its basic principles, theories, and traditional practices.
The curriculum is tailored for individuals who wish to explore Ayurveda either as a preliminary academic step or as an enhancement to existing health-related knowledge. The program covers the essential elements of Ayurvedic philosophy, including Pancha Mahabhutas (Five Great Elements), Tridosha theory (Vata, Pitta, and Kapha), Dhatus (Body Tissues), Malas (Waste Products), Agni (Digestive Fire), and Ojas (Vital Energy).
A major focus of the course lies in the Ayurveda Sanskaras, which refer to the cultural, spiritual, and purificatory rites and rituals that are integral to Ayurvedic tradition. These sanskaras are not only health-promoting but are deeply rooted in the preventive and promotive aspects of health and well-being. Students learn about Ayurvedic lifestyle (Dinacharya and Ritucharya), dietary guidelines, and ethical practices, helping them integrate ancient wisdom into modern living.
