COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Diploma in Physical Education (D.P.Ed or DPED) is a two-year full-time diploma program designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in physical education, sports training, and fitness development. This program is ideal for individuals passionate about sports, physical fitness, and working with people in educational or training settings.
The course focuses on the theoretical and practical foundations of physical education, with the objective of training competent and qualified physical education teachers, fitness instructors, and sports coaches. Students are taught the fundamentals of human anatomy, physiology, health education, kinesiology, sports psychology, and pedagogical methods of teaching physical education. Additionally, they gain hands-on experience in organizing sports events, first aid training, and athletic coaching.
